Very happy with my purchase, should have done it before. I cooked a Spanish bean soup using the slow cooker method and golly, in four hours I had the most tasty meal ever, beans, ham, potatoes, greens, onions, garlic, ham hocks, yummy, cooked to perfection. I remember way back my Mother used the clay pots for cooking and today, I married the old way with the modern twist. I followed the instructions given on its use. My cocotte has a nice coating, is clean, not rough, good looking, beautiful color and so beautiful I keep it on top of the stove just for good looks, however, I continue to make my cocotte my everyday cooking pan.
