I bought this for small toaster oven, the Breville compact 670. I use pizza pans, eighth baking sheets, and the broiler pan that came with it. Other grippers don't have the right angle to hold these shallower pans effectively, they remain loose or you have to take a really uncomfortable, and potentially dangerous, angle. This one, while not the perfect angle, nonetheless firmly grips all the pans I need to use. It allows me to move them in and out of oven without burning myself or making mess of oven. I don't leave many Amazon reviews, better things to do with my time, but this was such a difficult to find item I am leaving a review. The grippers that are made for restaurants and bigger restaurant pans are not necessarily the same ones that work well for smaller ovens or shallow pans like baking pans.A final note, which was rather humorous, is that the item has an "American" Metalcraft logo RIGHT next to the "CHINA" stamp. It isn't made in America, but then what is, besides bombs, movies, and obesity? I don't care where things are made, I want the best value for my hard earned money, but for those who do care, don't be duped by the American Metalcraft name, which is, like everything else these days, just marketing hype. There is a subconscious tendency to assume a company brandishing the name American Metalcraft is providing desperately needed jobs to American metal fabricators or factory workers, this is NOT the case. I again don't care, but if you do, don't believe the hype.
