Too smallEasy to use and easy to clean. Donuts came out great. I recommend this pan. This seems like it would make really cute baked goods, and I usually prefer to use a metal or glass pan than a silicone one. However, these donuts are just too small, so they're hard to remove. That's assuming that you were able to put in a small enough amount of batter to each one that they would actually bake into donuts, and not into dented muffins.Filling these donut molds is also medium-impossible to do with a spoon, unless you want to spill batter everywhere. Each mini donut requires so little batter that I used a medicine dosing syringe to portion it into the molds (it must have been <5ml each).I suppose I should have greased the mold like other reviewers, but the whole point of baking donuts instead of getting them from a bakery was to avoid extra fat, so I used this pan without butter or spray. The first batch I baked was completely stuck and went in the trash. The second was more successful, in that I got the donuts to release by sliding a toothpick in between the cake and the side, then pinching them out with my fingers (yes, they ended up squished). But even then the inside ("baked" side) was hard, smooth and glassy, and brown, while the top was spongy and light in color. I wasn't planning to frost them, so the contrast between the top and bottom made them look a bit weird. Finally, even though the nonstick coating helps with cleaning off the stuck-on crumbs or batter spills, it's tough to clean out these tiny rings. Batter likes to collect and bake on in the seams and around the ring. This isn't as bad as those mini bundt cakes because at least the mold is smooth, but it's still relatively hard to clean without a special brush.Overall, I imagine these would probably work okay as a candy mold, but for baking, after a couple of work-intensive batches I can't say I'm inclined to use this pan again.I’m so glad we got this pan! The smaller size makes the recipe go further & produces a more bite-sized donut with more delicious crust. The nonstick makes the donuts easy to release & remove as well as easy to clean!10 stars!!Very small but my fault for not checking dimensionsThese donut spaces measure 1 3/4" across. Yes, they are tiny, and that's just enough for one or two little bites. The directions say to put no more than 1/2 tablespoon (1 1/2 teaspoons) of batter in each cavity. I use a plastic ketchup squeeze bottle that I filled with batter with a funnel.Love this pan. I would also recommend buying two (or more). For the majority of baked donut recipes, estimate that ~2 regular donuts = 12 mini donuts and you should be set. I did not realize that a nonstick metal pan required regular maintenance in the form of greasing the pan regularly. Seems obvious now, but most of my cooking items prior to this were silicone trays. For a metal pan like this, I have found that greasing the cavities really well (coconut or extra virgin olive oil) at the start of each day's donuts will last you through multiple batches. For cake donuts, grease the pan once it is warm or you may have donut crumbs instead of donuts half way through.Other notes:* Transferring the batter into a ziplock bag and cutting the corner is a quick way to fill the molds without making a mess.* Depending on the type of donut batter being used and the fill level of the mold, the end product may bake more bundt-like (flat-tops when baking) or springy, perfectly-round donut forms.* If using fruits/berries, cut them into very small pieces to fit the molds! I made blueberry lemon mini donuts and found I needed to cut the frozen blueberries into quarters so that the batter could properly squeeze around the pieces.* Baking times can vary wildly depending on the batter. For the most part, 350F-450F with thick batter, 3/4-filled molds and the donuts will be done within 6-12min. It's quick so you have to be committed to be near the oven for a bit.Se lo compre a mi esposa para que me hiciera donas y fue la mejor opcionfacil de limpiar, practica y resitente.I was after a mini doughnut baking tin for ages and happy I got this. I chose the smallest size as I wanted it to use as decoration for my cupcakes and they are super cute.Very fast delivery, easy to use and tin is sturdy.A recipe is included with the tin. It's non stick but just make sure to not overflow the tin.Have used this product several times and do recommend! Next time will get the bigger sized tin.I saw this recommended on a cake group on FB and then read the reviews before purchasing. I bought the tin in size M and made perfect sized mini doughnuts so no idea how small they are in the mini tin but the tin is great quality and can tell it will last. The recipe included was easy to follow and as someone suggested in their review, I piped the mix into the tin, which was super fast and easy. I was a bit dubious of how easy they'd pop out without a proper cake release spray as the recipe advises to use vegetable spray (I have those 1cal ones for cooking already) but I followed it and they pop out very easily without sticking and do only take 6-7 minutes to bake. For my second batch I took out the nutmeg and used vanilla fudge Flavoured icing sugar (sugar and crumbs brand) instead of granulated sugar to go a little bit sweeter but the original recipe is great too. It's more a dough mix than cake so they taste great - like doughnuts without the grease. I checked what the UK equivalent to cake flour was and used 1 cup of plain flour but swapped 2tbsp for cornflour and worked fine.I dipped mine in melted chocolate and added a few sprinkles. The recipe makes 13-14 doughnuts and with how quick they bake I just left my extra dough in the piping bag. The first time I did try using all the dough in 12 doughnuts but then some were overfilled so looked like little mushrooms. Still tasted great though!I'd definitely recommend this tray for making your own mini doughnuts perfectly. These were more mini than I had expected.. and perhaps due to my own lack of ability as a good baker, really hard to use.Spooning or pouring the mixture into them was incredibly tedious as they are so small. Once baked it was really difficult to get them out in one piece too.Basically I had so much difficulty in using this product that its put me off ever attempting to make anything with it again.I'd say only purchase if you have worked with small baking items before and/or you're an amazing baker who knows what they're doing.Always wanted to make cute little donuts like you see in magazines and this seemed a good idea for baking. The size is great for little ‘pop them in your mouth’ size bites so I whipped up a batch of batter for it and baked in the oven.It truly is no stick but only as long as you cook your donuts with enough time, if they’ve been left the right amount of time they slide right out.I was early in taking mine out one time and 95% of the donut came out ok but a little remained but honestly I think that’s more me being inpatient than the tins fault. If you want to give them a spray coat you can but I find that gives mine a funny taste so I don’t like to use it.Just bake everything properly and no need to spray it though.Amazing quality. I choose size M and it’s perfect, it’s smaller than standard donuts which u can buy.
